Rajinikanth makes his appearance a good 1 hour into the film & he clashes swords with Kaka. Their confrontation scenes are a treat to watch. The director has a tricky task since he has to satisfy the fans of both the superstars but he manages it neatly. The climax is a wrenching one with the honours equally shared.
The only sore point of the movie is Bappi Lahiri's music which is average. The film is a delight for fans of both the stars & is good entertainment. The film had a delayed release but it did fairly well at the box office.
