Refer the steps below to uninstall. • Press “Windows key + X”, select Control panel. • Open programs and features.
• In the list of installed programs, select Microsoft Flight Simulator, and then click Remove. Note: If you have earlier versions of Flight Simulator in the list of installed programs, you will have to remove them in addition to Flight Simulator. Reinstall the Flight Simulator. Please reply to us if the issue still persist.
Microsoft FSX is still selling at most software outlets, even Walmart so to say Microsoft has nothing to do with FSX is incorrect They are no longer developing it or improving it but they are still selling it. So the activation site has to remain open. FS2004 needed a cd to run but FSX doesn't but it does require activation. I applaud Dovetail for taking it on but they must make improvements. At present the Boxed version is much more stable. FSX_SE crashes or loses scenery because of Dll conflicts.
